Introduction

    My name is Ahmed Fallatah. I am from Saudi Arabia. I am full time Student in Instructional Technology master program in CSUSB. I have no experience or background in the field of education, but I love training and self-development. Since 2002 when I graduated from the university I have been working at CTLD (The Center of Teaching and Learning development) in King Abdul-Aziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In CTLD on of our mission is to enhance the use of technology in the teaching and learning process. This mission was beyond my decision to enroll in instructional technology program. This is my third quarter in the program and I think I am learning something new whenever I go deeper in the program. I look forward to learn from this class a variety technology and software that support E-learning environment and who to effectively use them.

     In fact, I did not used to take online courses, and I am still thinking face-to-face environment give more opportunities to interact with instructors and classmates and share knowledge with them. However, conditions of the modern technical world forces us to shift our methods of teaching and learning. I hope in this program I learn something that strengthen my cconviction on technology and the technology has the ability to provide  an appropriate alternatives for the traditional method of learning teaching and learning.

   I used to use Liveminutes which is a web service that support online meeting. I found these servers so useful in E-learning environment, some of the features of Liveminutes are that it is allow sharing presenting file or graphic on screen and it allows using a telephone, and it allows voice and text comments like a real class or meeting, and sending reports for all participants.
